Vikramaditya Singh: If Congress government formed in the state welfare of ex-servicemen & Veer Naris will be ensured

Shimla Rural MLA Vikramaditya Singh has said that if the Congress government is formed in the state, the welfare of ex-servicemen and Veer Naris will be ensured again. He said that former Chief Minister late Virbhadra Singh had done many works in this direction. He established Sainik Kalyan Kendras along with the establishment of Sainik Kalyan Kosh in the state. He also ensured their re-employment. He said that if Congress comes to power, the discrepancies of one rank one pension will also be removed.

Vikramaditya Singh, while attending the honor ceremony of ex-servicemen and Veer Nari Gaurav Samman at Banuti in his constituency Shimla Rural, also honored ex-servicemen and Veer Naris during this period. He said that this was the first event of its kind in Shimla Rural, in which an opportunity has been given to meet brave soldiers and their families at one place. He said that in future he would try to organize such events every year. He said that the soldier in the army carries the spirit of patriotism. He said that the Agneepath scheme in the army should be reconsidered by the central government. He said that this scheme is not in the interest of the country.

Referring to the development works in his constituency, Vikramaditya Singh said that he does not need any certificate from BJP for this. He said that more than 1500 crore development works were done in this area during the tenure of Late Virbhadra Singh. He said that he has also got more than 90 crore development works done in this area from his MLA fund during his tenure. He said that his thinking has always been positive. He said that his aim is for the overall development of the area and to provide employment to the youth. He said that effective steps will be taken in this direction as soon as the Congress comes to power.

Vikramaditya Singh said that assembly elections are about to be held in the state. In such a situation, BJP has been trying to divide the people by doing politics of regionalism. He cautioned the people about this and said that they should not be misled.

Earlier, former MLAs of Kusampti, Sohan Lal and Chiranji Lal also praised Vikramaditya Singh in their address and described him as the messiah of development in this area. He said that the enthusiasm and consciousness with which Vikramaditya Singh is working in this field is very appreciable.

He said that the late Virbhadra Singh would always be remembered.
