Various activities organized in Balg school on Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat program

Various competitions were held house-wise under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat program in Government Senior Secondary School, Balg. In which Tamanna of Tagore House got first place and Ritu of Gandhi House got second place. Similarly, Tanvi of Tagore House got first place and Navya of Vivekanand House got second place in Tagore’s folk tales among Kerala and Himachali folk tales. The program was presided over by Principal Ramesh Chand Sharma.
On this occasion, Scout and Guide in-charge Sushma Sankhyan and Satyadev Shastri taught the children about the unity and integrity of the nation. Teachers Renuka and Reena gave useful information about health and hygiene to the children. Teachers Kaushalya and Jyoti Sharma gave the children disaster management, Eco Club in-charge Saroj Bala gave them road safety and NSS in-charge Aman Sarwan gave them the mantra of national and social service. On this occasion, the children cleaned the school premises and the flower beds were well maintained.
In his address, the Principal said that various activities are conducted in the school for the all-round development of the children, which generate a spirit of competition, self-reliance, hard work and progress in the children.
On this occasion, children made the function attractive by presenting colourful cultural programmes. Teacher Sushma Sankhyan played the role of stage management very well.
