
Union Health Minister JP Nadda Admitted to AIIMS for Observation
Union Health Minister and former BJP president was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, on Thursday, August 13, 2026, after experiencing uneasiness.
According to a statement issued by AIIMS authorities, Nadda underwent medical evaluation, including a coronary angiography, on the evening of August 13. The hospital said he is currently stable and has been admitted to the Department of Cardiology for observation.
Nadda, who is from Bilaspur in Himachal Pradesh, was admitted to AIIMS on Thursday and underwent the angiography as part of his medical assessment. The hospital confirmed that his condition remains stable and that he is under observation in the cardiology department.
