Una sizzled at 42 degres C
Heatwave remained unabated in the Himachal Pradesh as Mercury went above normal and Una recorded 42 degrees on Tuesday .The Met Office said that Maximum temperature went up by one to two degrees above normal Una recorded highest of season at 41 degrees, Bilaspur 37, Hamirpur Mandi and Kangra 36 degrees, Dharmshala, Chamba and Solan 35, Kalpa 21.7 and Dalhousie 23 , Kufri 21 and Keylong 18. The Met Office forecast rain and thunder storms at isolated places in mid hills and few places in the high reaches.Warning of Thunderstorm, lightning,hailstorm & gusty winds(wind speed 30-40kmph) issued in isolated places in next 24 hrs.
