Two bus mishaps of HRTC buses in Monsoon rain, Management issues advisory 

The management Himachal Pradesh Road Corporation today issued an advisory to all driver and conductor of its Bud  after two buses crashed in the state in the last 2 days. Issuing an advisory, the HRTC management has made it clear that the driver and conductor should remain alert that road conditions are not so good in many roads and on the main road including national highway bus accident have occurred. Two road accidents have happened in Shimla district in the last two days forced the management to issue this advisory. A HRTC bus crashed in Hiranagar, Shimla on  Wednesday and another bus also fell into a gorge in Kotkhai on Thursday. The reason for this is believed to be bad weather and unpaved road. In both mishap the front part of the bus had sunk into the mud. HRTC DGM Traffic Headquarter Deva Sen Negi told that the driver and conductor have been instructed that the driving of buses should completely safe and vehicle should be piled after checking the condition of tole. Driver should take the routes only after ensuring  that there is no problem during the rain in the journey. There is no need to go to such accident prone areas, where there is a risk of landslides. Similar instructions to all the station chargers have been passed by the management. Management said that drivers were cautioned before driving on unpaved road. He said that on both mishaps mechanical team of HRTC visited the places of accidents, it was found that these accidents are happening due to mudslides and the road is unpaved. It has been clearly stated in the advisory that if it rains excessively while running on the route, then the bus should be stopped or parked at  safe place. First of all the safety of the passengers is necessary.  It is said that all the station in-charges of the state will have to strictly follow the instructions. The driver conductor should be instructed that the while driving the bus they do not take any kind of risk while driving and choose the right place before parking and unloading passengers. Do not drop passengers on unpaved places on the side of the road or such  Park the buses at the safe place.
