Tree Plantation Drive Kicks Off on July 11
Starting from July 11, a tree plantation campaign is set to begin, encouraging everyone to participate and contribute to a greener environment. The campaign aims to combat the rising temperatures caused by pollution, emphasizing tree plantation as the only solution.
Participants are encouraged to contact the Forest Department or Horticulture Department to obtain plants. Public participation is key to the success of this campaign, and everyone is urged to arrange for plants through community efforts.
“Planting trees is our collective duty,” says Bhimsingh, General Secretary of the Mandi Literacy and Public Development Committee. “With the increasing heat due to pollution, the only solution is to plant more trees. Let’s join hands and make an effort together.”
This initiative not only aims to reduce pollution but also to foster a sense of responsibility and community involvement in environmental conservation. Everyone is invited to take part in this noble cause and contribute to a healthier planet.
