Those who are sold will be called sellable in history, people will not forgive: Congress
Chief Parliamentary Secretaries Sunder Singh Thakur and Mohan Lal Brakta said that the people of Himachal Pradesh will never forgive the betrayal of six Congress MLAs who voted against the official candidate of Congress in the Rajya Sabha elections. He said that those who were sold will always be called sellouts in the history of Himachal Pradesh. The people of the state are well aware that six leaders have sold their faith to the Bharatiya Janata Party and have betrayed the party. Those who till yesterday used to call the Congress Party as their mother, have started the politics of opportunism in the history of the state by secretly stabbing the mother in the back.
Sundar Singh Thakur and Mohan Lal Brakta said that the people of Himachal Pradesh have seen their MLA being sold for the first time, due to which his real face has been exposed in front of the voters. He said that within a year and a quarter these leaders imposed the burden of by-elections on Himachal Pradesh. The rebels should accept the truth of their greed before the people of the state and apologize for their misdeeds.
Chief Parliamentary Secretaries said that the Congress Party is going to field leaders with a noble and clean image and the candidates will be announced soon. He said that once the names of Congress candidates are declared, BJP candidates will not be found. He said that BJP could not even find candidates in its party for the by-elections being held on six seats and has given tickets to Congress rebels. In such a situation, the contest is between the real Congress team versus the fake Congress team and the people of the state will make the real Congress team victorious. Both of them said that the raw letter of BJP has been exposed in front of the entire state. BJP has sponsored a conspiracy against an elected government and now BJP leaders cannot deny their involvement. He said that the public has sensed the nefarious intentions of the Bharatiya Janata Party and is ready to teach a lesson to the BJP leaders who have become blinded by the lust for power. He said that public anger is boiling against BJP in the state and BJP will have to face defeat in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and by-elections for six seats. It is certain that all the BJP candidates will be badly defeated in the by-elections and even their deposits will be confiscated. Not only this, BJP will be swept clean in the Lok Sabha elections also. He said that Congress has full faith in people power.
