The viral post-mortem report in the Vimal Negi case gave birth to new questions: Bindal

 BJP State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal said that after the mysterious death of Shri Vimal Negi ji, his dead body was found underwater in Govind Sagar in Bilaspur. Thereafter, his post-mortem was conducted and the post-mortem report which went viral through the media yesterday, has given rise to many new questions. According to that report, the absence of water in the chest, absence of water in the stomach raises many questions.

He said that it came to light that the death was due to drowning or the drowning was reported after death, therefore while doubts have arisen in the minds of entire Himachal, they are also in the minds of Kinnaur and in the minds of the family of Shri Vimal Negi ji. Doubts are getting stronger in the entire state. In such a situation, there is a need to take this matter more seriously.

He told that the postmortem report has brought a new twist in the case of death of Vimal Negi, Chief Engineer of Energy Corporation. The postmortem report done in AIIMS Bilaspur has revealed that not even a single drop of water was found in Vimal Negi’s chest. Experts have said in the report that the lungs were completely rotten but there was no water in the chest. Water was also not found in Vimal Negi’s stomach. There are no marks of any kind of injury on any internal or external part of his body, whereas his death was reported to be due to drowning in Gobind Sagar Lake and the body was found in the lake itself. Vimal Negi’s postmortem was done in AIIMS Bilaspur on March 19 by two doctors of the institute’s Forensic Medicine and Toxicology Department, Junior Resident Dr. Jasmeet Jain and Assistant Professor Dr. Vipin.
