The Principal arranged a free tour of Chandigarh for three promising students of Chiyog

Principal Sandeep Sharma arranged a three-day free tour of Chandigarh at his own expense for three bright students of Government Utkrisht Senior Secondary School Chiyog. These include Shivansh of class VI who scored 93 percent, Prerna of class VII who scored 94 and Priyanshi who scored 97 percent in class VIII. During this, the girls thoroughly enjoyed many places including major tourist places of Chandigarh Sukhna Lake, Air Force Museum, Chhatbir Zoo, Sky Force. Parents have expressed their gratitude to the Principal for this unique initiative.
Let us tell you that during the last academic session, with the aim of increasing interest in studies, the Principal had promised to send a trip to Chandigarh to the students securing first position in the exams from 6th to 8th, a three-day train journey to the students of 9th and 11th class and an air travel at his own expense to the students securing first position in the exams of 10th and 12th.
It is noteworthy that during his service in Government Senior Secondary School Balg, Principal Sandeep Sharma had arranged train and air travel of seven bright students of Balg School from 6th to 12th class to Chandigarh and Delhi from his personal funds. Apart from this, two years ago Sandeep Sharma had given incentive amount of one lakh rupees each to two daughters of Chiyog School Complex who got merit position in 12th class examination, to continue their further studies. Apart from this, he has donated an amount of ten lakhs for construction of two rooms in Chiyog School. Sandeep Sharma has a distinct identity in the education department as an ideal teacher.
