The affected families of Thanoga and Bhuira are forced to live in tents

Heavy rains and landslides have forced many families in Thanoga and Bhuira villages of Rajgarh sub-division to live in tents. SDM Rajgarh Rajkumar Thakur visited Thanoga and Bhuira villages on Thursday and talked to the affected families and assured them of all possible help.
Lekh Ram of Thanoga village, while revealing the havoc of rain, said that on the night of 1st September, when he was resting with his family in his house, suddenly at around 3:30 in the night, he heard the sound of landslide. He was unable to sleep due to heavy rains. As soon as he went out, he saw the scene of landslide with his own eyes that about five to six trees of deodar etc. broke from a distance of about 50-60 meters above the house and reached the back of his house with debris, due to which the glass on the back side of the house broke and debris filled the house. He immediately woke up his family and went to a safe place in the rain itself. He said that it was a blessing that his family was saved safely. He has started living with his family by putting up a tent near the house. There is also a danger of wild animals there.
Similarly, in Bhuira village, Pradeep and Manoj’s houses have been evacuated due to cracks in their houses. Manoj Tomar, the head of the affected family, said that he had built the house with a lot of hard work but there was a landslide at the back of the house and cracks in the front of the house, due to which the house has come under threat. He said that he has also put up a tent at a safe place where he is living with his family.
SDM said that in Rajgarh sub division, many houses have come under threat due to rain and landslides, which have been evacuated. The administration is providing all possible help to the affected families.
