Ten tourists rescued from snow-affected areas of Himachal

Ten Tourists who were stranded in snow-affected Lahaul-Spiti and Kullu districts are rescued in the state today

According to the state Disaster Management Authority, information was received about stranded persons on yesterday. A police rescue team from Police Station Manikaran successfully educated all five tourists along with guides who had been stuck at a place named Nagaru on the way to Saar Pass.

  The rescue team traveled the whole day on foot in extremely difficult conditions and bad weather, the rescue team reached the spot, and five tourists Anshul resident of Nashik (Maharashtra), Kaishav, Gaurav, and Ehsaas resident of Delhi, and Rajesh Sharma Panipat (Haryana) has been rescued and reached Kasol safely.  All the above tourists are completely healthy and safe.

Similarly, five Tourists were rescued by the Police party and safely brought to Kaza. The district administration is issuing alerts to Tourists but many of them are risking their lives. 

District administration Lahaul-Spiti said that last evening information was received at Police Station Kaza from the 112 helplines that some tourists are stuck in the snow at Kaumik and need Police assistance. On this information, the Police party reached Kaumik and found there 05 people.
