Export Promotion Mission will provide new opportunities to MSMEs and youth in the global market: Suresh Kashyap
Shimla: BJP MP Suresh Kumar Kashyap said that the Export Promotion Mission (EPM) launched by the central government is a historic and visionary initiative to strengthen India’s export ecosystem. He said that the mission has given special priority to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, first-time exporters, and labor-intensive sectors, which will provide local industries and youth with a golden opportunity to access the global market.
MP Kashyap stated that seven additional interventions have been launched under the EPM, bringing the mission closer to full implementation. The mission is being implemented through two integrated sub-schemes—”Niryat Protsahan” and “Niryat Disha”—that provide both financial and non-financial support to exporters.
He said the mission provides comprehensive support for trade finance, export compliance, logistics, overseas warehousing, and global market access. This will enhance the competitiveness of Indian products and give new impetus to “Make in India.”
Suresh Kashyap said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the central government is making exports a key pillar of the country’s economic progress. Initiatives like the EPM will not only strengthen India’s position in global trade but also help industries in states like Himachal Pradesh gain international recognition.
