Sukhu to carry CM helpline legacy of his predecessor

Chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu would carry forward the legacy of his predecessor, decided to continue CM helpline started by Jai Ram Thakur for redressal of public grievances. He visited the multi storeyed parking building near Tutikandi and Chief Minister’s Helpline office and envisaged keen interest in the functioning of the Helpline. He directed the officers of IT Department to strengthen the functioning of the Helpline to facilitate the people in redressal of grievances. He also stressed upon starting innovative schemes such as Whatsapp Chatbots and Voice Bots for taking automated feedback from the citizens. CM directed the officers to ensure time bound shifting of major offices which were presently functioning from private building to this building which is lying vacant.

Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that all the dead walls must be removed and replaced with spacious windows to ensure proper ventilation of the complex. He said that charging stations for HRTC buses will be established on the top floor of the parking lot. He also directed the concerned authorities to ensure that no private buses were allowed to be parked in above mentioned parking lot.It is worthwhile to mention that Eleven story Tutikandi complex was laying vaccant for last many years but Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu also took the congizance on utilisation of empty infrastructure developed by the hardearn tax payers money and Assian Development Bank loan. Number of state offices which are being run from rented houses in former BJP and Congress rule should be housed in the complex.
