Sukhu dedicates 61 development projects worth Rs. 182.87 crore in Rohru
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated and laid foundation stones of 61 development projects worth Rs. 182.87 crore at Nagar Panchayat Ground Chirgaon for Rohru assembly constituency of Shimla district during his visit to the area.
The Chief Minister inaugurated Rs. 2.76 crore providing of functional house tap connection in Badiyara and its surrounding area in Gram Panchayat Kulgaon, tehsil Chirgaon, Rs. 5.20 crore providing of functional household tap connection to village Chillala and its surrounding villages in Gram Panchayat Bhampad in tehsil Chirgaon, Rs. 3.40 crore lift water supply scheme to Sundha Bonda and its surrounding area in Gram Panchayat Sundha Bonda tehsil Chirgaon, Rs. 4.75 crore lift irrigation scheme for horticulture land from Lahhasa to Shekhal in Gram Panchayat Shekhal tehsil Rohru, Rs. 8.02 crore lift irrigation scheme for Kulgaon and surrounding area in Gram Panchayat Jangla tehsil Chirgaon.
He also inaugurated Rs. 4.49 crore link road to village Kulgaon, Rs. 7.66 crore Jaloh to Gad, Rs. 7.64 crore Shil Saungi Mandla road, Rs. 10.01 crore Chenu to Balson road, Rs. 7.22 crore link road to village Melthi, Rs. 3.30 crore link road to village Tikkari, Rs. 8.52 crore upgradtion of Khashdhar to Jakhi road, Rs. 4.47 crore up-gradation of Bhamwari to Manghara road, Rs. 7.02 crore upgradation of Jhalwari to Bhamwari, Rs. 6.47 crore upgradation of Dhamwari to Gokswari, Rs. 3.91 crore link road from Panmesari Dunna road, Rs. 3.49 crore link road Andhra to Baggi road, Rs. 6.90 crore link road Goansari to Gokswari, Rs. 3.91 crore link road to village Kitewari road, Rs. 10.71 crore link road to village Jishkoon, Rs. 6 crore link road to village Jarkot, Rs. 13.55 crore Narsai to Dalgaon road and Rs. 3.96 crore Government Senior Secondary School Bhaloon.
Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu laid foundation stones of Rs. 25 crore 50 bedded Critical Care Block and District Integrated Public Health Laboratory at Civil Hospital Rohru, Rs. 3.54 crore Science Block at Government Senior Secondary School Jaga, Rs. 4.93 crore Government Senior Secondary School building at Dodra. He also performed bhumi pujan of Rs. 8 lakh Buthara Bagharan road upto Nursary Gram Panchayat Kuthara, tehsil Rohru, Rs. 15 lakh road from Shalawat to house of Madnu Parshottam Dass, Rs. 20 lakh road from Kayani to Gedam, Rs. 50 lakh road from Gopesh Janarrtha to Prem Prakash Janartha village Kashani, Rs.30 lakh road from Chirgaon to Tahli Chanti and Rs. 10 lakh road from Urroi Gram Panchayat Banoti.

The Chief Minister said that the development projects would significantly strengthen the basic infrastructure and public services in the areas. He said that the road connectivity will help in ensuring smoother movement of vehicles and strengthen the overall road network in the area. He said that the water supply schemes would ensure improved access to safe and reliable drinking water for residents of the concerned villages.
