Sukhu, Agnihotri mislead the public: Randhir

Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson and MLA Randhir Sharma said in his statement that Himachal Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party alleges that the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh are continuously misleading the people of the state. He said that yesterday Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Government Mukesh Agnihotri has given a statement that the leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party are creating obstacles in getting help from the Central Government to Himachal Pradesh and are opposing it.

He considered this statement baseless and said that this statement is a misleading statement to the public and this statement is an attempt by the Congress government to hide its failures. In his statement, he wanted to ask Mukesh Agnihotri that which of our leaders did the work of stopping the project that he sent to the Centre. He said that do not make such absurd statements and give statements based on facts. Which leader stopped which project, only then will the public trust him. By making baseless statements like this, he is becoming a laughing stock among the public.

He said that the leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party always made efforts to ensure that the Center provides maximum assistance to Himachal Pradesh. National President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Jagat Prakash Nadda not only visited Himachal Pradesh during the natural disaster but also met the Prime Minister and the Home Minister and made efforts to ensure that maximum amount of money is given to Himachal Pradesh. Bharatiya Janata Party’s Union Minister Anurag Thakur and former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur made this effort and Himachal Pradesh Center gave Rs 1782 crore as relief amount, which is a record.

He said that apart from this, the Central Government released about Rs 2700 crore from the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana to upgrade 254 roads of Himachal Pradesh.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 11000 houses were given to Himachal Pradesh by the Bharatiya Janata Party government. Jal Jeevan Mission department is with the Deputy Chief Minister, Rs 190 crore has come under it. He said that apart from this, every state gets financial assistance in routine, Himachal Pradesh has received it from time to time. Himachal Pradesh receives funds through many departments. The present Congress government never thanked the Central Government. Although Public Works Minister Vikramaditya definitely thanked Gadkari, he did so only when his department received Rs 2700 crore in the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana Phase-3. The central government is giving crores of rupees through other projects.

Randhir Sharma accused the present state government and said that this government is blaming others to hide its shortcomings. While the public knows the truth. This attempt is baseless. They will not be successful in this. Bharatiya Janata Party has been and continues to work in the interest of the country, the interest of the state and the public interest.
