Sukanya Samridhi Yojana of post office is most popular in the state: Sandeep Dharmani

An awareness camp was organized under the Postal Community Development Program in Peeran, a remote Panchayat of Mashobra Block, on Wednesday, courtesy of the Post Office Division Solan of the Government of India. It was presided over by Superintendent Post Office Sandeep Dharmani. On this occasion, Aadhar cards of the people were also made.
In his address, Superintendent Sandeep Dharmani said that Sukanya Samridhi Yojana being run by the post office is becoming the most popular in the entire country, in which 85 percent of the girls of the state have been included under this scheme. He said that it is a matter of pride that through the post office, various types of excellent and qualitative services are being made available at the doorstep of the people in the remote areas of the state. He said that people in rural areas are getting a lot of benefits by providing banking services through the post office. He said that the post office is soon going to provide the facility of providing loans to the people.
He said that the post office is providing the highest interest on deposits to its customers as compared to nationalized and other banks. He urged people to avail the benefits of various services being provided through the post office.
Assistant Superintendent Post Office, Ishwar Das gave detailed information to the people about the Post Office Savings Bank schemes. While DO PLI Shakun Sharma told about the benefits of PLI and RPLI and urged the people to join this scheme. Similarly, Executive Manager IPPB Solan highlighted the post office banking services. Rajesh Kumar gave information to the people about making Aadhar card and rectifying errors.
Local Panchayat Pradhan Kiran Sharma expressed her gratitude to the officials of the Post Office Department for organizing the camp in the remote Panchayat Peeran. She said that people have benefited a lot from the facility of making Aadhar card at their doorstep, otherwise people had to go to Solan or Shimla for this work.
Branch Postmaster Peeran Hansraj Verma thanked the department officials and all the people who came to the camp.
On this occasion, former head Atar Singh Thakur, acting principal Devendra Chauhan, spokesperson Kalpana Sharma, secretary Rajiv Thakur, village organisation head Bimla Verma, women’s wing head Anita Mehta and people from various villages of the panchayat participated.
