Sujal and Tanu got the title of best volunteer at NSS Camp
The NSS special camp which has been going on at Government Adarsh Senior Secondary School, Junga for the last week, concluded on Sunday. Sujal and Tanu were awarded the title of best volunteer. School teacher Suman Chandel presided over the closing ceremony while Pawan Sharma was present as a special guest. On this occasion, volunteers sang patriotic songs. The students of Tadonpadat School enthralled the people present by performing folk dance and presenting a program.
Principal Suman Chandel in his address said that NSS is a platform through which a sense of self-confidence, competition, and social service is generated in children. While giving advice to the NSS students, he said that they should not keep the knowledge acquired by them in this camp to themselves but should use it in the service of society and the nation.
Before this, program officers Ram Lal Lodhata and Maina Chauhan threw light on the activities of the seven-day special camp. He said that during the camp, NSS volunteers cleaned the school premises, the adjoining civil hospital premises, and the walking path of Junga. In the village Dhalayana, adopted by the Junga NSS unit, volunteers gave the message of cleanliness by picking up plastic waste and also cleaning the nearby Shiva temple. During the academic session of NSS, Deputy Commandant Parveer Thakur, doctors from Civil Hospital, Dr. Manoj, and Dr. Neeti guided the students by providing information related to their departments. School management committee members, teachers, and non-teaching staff were present on this occasion.
