Students took out an anti-chitta rally in Junga
An anti-drug rally was organized in Junga, courtesy of the Anti-Drug Committee of Keonthal Convent School. Junga Tehsildar Narayan Singh Verma flagged off the rally. The rally began at the school, passed through the tehsil, and then through Junga Bazaar to the Junga bus stand. In his address, the Tehsildar stated that the state government has launched an anti-drug campaign, in which everyone should contribute constructively.
School Principal M.K. Sharma stated that the rally’s purpose was to raise awareness among students, parents, and local residents about the ill effects of drug abuse and to promote a drug-free society. He added that the school will continue to organize anti-drug rallies from time to time to raise awareness about the ill effects of drugs, especially drug abuse, and to prevent its use, and to protect the youth from this addiction.
From the teaching community, Anuradha Sharma, Sunita Thakur, Suhani Sharma, Neelam Sharma, Kriti Mehta, Hitender Sen, Rohit, Ruchi Sood, Monica, Pooja Jamwal and Karuna actively participated in this rally.
