Students learned the tricks of resolving disputes legally through compromise

The first inter-college mock Lok Adalat competition was organized by the School of Law of Lingayas Vidyapeeth on the occasion of National Legal Services Day. Head of the School Professor (Dr.) Monica Rastogi said that this program was organized by Chancellor Dr. Picheshwar Gadde and Prof. Chancellor Professor (Dr.) M.K. It was done under the guidance of Soni. Students from various law schools and universities participated enthusiastically in this competition.
Through this competition, students learned practically about Lok Adalat the process followed in it, and how any dispute is settled outside the courts in a legal manner through compromise. The jury in the program included Daya Chand Dhankar (Senior Advocate), R. P. Nagar (Senior Advocate), Kumud Sachdeva (Advocate), and Manju Kumari (Assistant Professor DGIM College).
Registrar Prem Kumar Salwan and Academic Dean Professor (Dr.) Seema Bushra congratulated all the staff members of the department on the success of the program and inspired them to continue organizing such programs in the future. The contribution of Dr. Anjali Dixit, Shilpa Sharma, Shivendra Kumar, Vivek Gupta, Ruchi Kaushik, Mohini Taneja, Sweksha Bhadauria, Dr. Suresh Nagar, and Durgendra Singh Rajput was important in making this program successful.
