Star Performers to Light Up Rajgarh Baisakhi Fair

Famous Bollywood playback singers Amit Sharma and Arshpreet Kaur, along with Himachal’s renowned folk artists Suresh Sharma, Ajay Chauhan, Aju Tomar, Himanshi Tanwar, Rajesh Tyagi, and Madan Jhalta, will enthrall audiences during the three cultural evenings of the district-level Baisakhi Fair in Rajgarh.

Sharing details, SDM Rajgarh and Fair Committee Chairman Rajkumar Thakur said that on April 14, the first cultural evening will feature performances by folk singer Suresh Sharma, Himanshi Tanwar, Kishan Verma, and Bharti Sharma. On April 15, Bollywood singers Amit Sharma and Arshpreet Kaur, along with the Himachali duo and Rajesh Tyagi, will entertain the crowd. This evening will also see RS Bali, Chairman of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation, as the Chief Guest.

The final evening on April 16 will showcase performances by Ajay Chauhan, Aju Tomar, Sammi Prince, Madan Jhalta, and Deepak Chauhan. Kuldeep Singh Pathania, Speaker of the Assembly, will attend as Chief Guest, while former Speaker GR Musafir will be the Special Guest.

The SDM added that local artists will also be given ample opportunities to perform during all three evenings. Daily programs by school children will add charm to the fair, while troupes sponsored by the Information and Public Relations Department will entertain visitors during the day. High-quality arrangements for electricity, water, and orchestra have been made for the performers. Cultural programs will begin every evening at 5 PM, with artists expected to report to the stage committee by that time.
