During their visit, they met with families of dengue patients, providing detailed guidance on appropriate diets during the illness. They urged locals and the city council to address these issues promptly to control the spread of dengue.

Dr. Lakhanpal also visited a school in Rampur to raise awareness among children and teachers about dengue prevention. He advised students to wear full-body covered uniforms to avoid mosquito bites and encouraged them to educate their families and neighbors about dengue prevention.

Dr. Vineet emphasized the importance of community involvement in preventing dengue. He urged the city council to continue spraying anti-pesticides and anti-mosquito treatments and to prevent water stagnation in drains. He also appealed to residents to get their blood tested if they have a high fever, avoid self-medication, and eliminate mosquito breeding sites around their homes.

The team highlighted the symptoms of dengue, which include sudden high fever, severe headache, muscle and joint pain, pain behind the eyes, vomiting, and in severe cases, bleeding from the nose, mouth, and gums. They advised residents to empty water containers weekly, dry them in the sun, and use nets or curtains on windows and doors to prevent mosquito entry.

Health teacher Subhash Chandra, health supervisor Ram Lal, and ASHA workers Niranjana and Reena also participated in the inspection and awareness activities.
