Special Gram Sabhas on October 2nd to discuss safety from disaster
To aware the people of the state regarding safety measures to be undertaken during the times of disaster, the State Government is going to organize special Gram Sabhas under ‘Samarth’ program on 2nd October, 2023, also the International Disaster Risk Reduction Day. It was stated by a spokesperson of the State Disaster Management Authority, here today.
To ensure the participation of villagers in the disaster management-specific Samarth Programme, the Gram Sabhas will hold discussions on disasters occurring due to monsoons, landslides, Earthquakes, and natural risks from fire and storm incidents, said the spokesperson.
