Soon all the office bearers of Congress in Himachal will be declared: Pratibha

State Congress President Pratibha Singh has said that soon all the office bearers, district and block of the Congress organization in the state will be declared. All the ground work for this has been completed. It will be finalized after talks with Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri and senior party leaders.

Talking to journalists at the state Congress headquarters Rajiv Bhawan today, Pratibha Singh said that she will soon meet the newly appointed in-charge of state affairs Rajni Patil in New Delhi. She said that the Congress government was formed in the state under the guidance of outgoing in-charge Rajiv Shukla. She said that the high command has once again entrusted this responsibility to Rajni Patil, the state Congress Committee will move forward with full unity under her guidance.

Pratibha Singh said that this time hardworking leaders, youth, women and party workers will be given important responsibilities in the organization. She said that by the end of this year, municipal bodies and panchayat elections are to be held in the state and the party has to gear up for this. She said that after the panchayat elections, the party also has to prepare for the state assembly elections to be held in 2027. She said that elections can be won only if the organization is strong. She said that the hardworking and loyal leaders and workers of the party should be given full respect and she is working for this.

Pratibha Singh today while giving her reaction on a woman leader becoming the Chief Minister of Delhi said that Congress had also made Sheila Dikshit the Chief Minister of Delhi. She did record breaking development work in Delhi during her 15 years tenure. People still remember Sheila Dikshit. She said that it remains to be seen how successful the current BJP leader is as the Chief Minister. She said that the people of Delhi will also wait to see when the BJP fulfils the promises it has made to the people of Delhi.
