SIT to file challan in 2 days of investigation in FTC

Special Investigation Team by state police was ordered to file challan within two days of investigation in the fast track court Una to provide prompt justice a juvenile murder victim as crime occurred under Amb sub-division of Una district recently. State government spokesperson stated in a press statement issued today after passing this instructions on last night to file petition for hearing on a fast track basis in Amb murder case. SIT constituted to investigate the brutal murder of a 15-year-old girl student in Amb of Una district has completed the investigation of the case. The police department has apprised about this and now only the report of the forensic science laboratory was yet to come which will be received within three to four days. After this, the challan would be presented in the court within two days.He said that after reviewing this sensitive matter on April 18, 2022, the Chief Minister had directed the Home and Police Departments to file chargesheet or challan within a week. He also directed that a petition should be filed in the court for speedy hearing of the matter on a fast track basis, so that the guilty could be given proper punishment as per law for this inhuman crime at the earliest. State government decided to set up a SIT soonafter the crime and arrest of accused in the case as family members of victim and local people of area asked the local police to handover the accused to them to deliver justice to the victim .
