SIT reveals fourth paper leak by HPSSC

Special investigation unit of State Vigilance and Anti-corruption Bureau now revealed that fourth paper of Drawing master was confirmed leaked by scrapped Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission Hamirpur. It is worthwhile to mention that SV&ACB have confirmed leak of three papers earlier moreover Commission was scrapped recently after investigation got indication that 18 papers have been leaked.

SV&ACB stated today that investigation conducted by the Vigilance Department team so far, sufficient evidence has been found about leakage of  written examination paper for the 314 posts of drawing master in the former Jairam government was also leaked in the Subordinate Staff Selection Commission Hamirpur.  The investigation revealed that Vigilance has registered an FIR in this matter in Hamirpur and has started further investigation. Now confusion has arisen whether the result of this examination will be out or not. It is worthwhile to mention that notification for filling of 314 post of DM wad advertised on 24 May 2022. Thousands of youths had given the written test for this recruitment and the commission had also released the result of the written test and shortlisted 971 candidates for these 314 posts.  After this, the verification of the documents of these 971 candidates was also done from 16 December to 22 December 2022 itself. These candidates were now waiting call letter for the jobs. Among those papers have leaked including JOA, Auditor, JOA(IT) and DM examination. State council of ministers today decided to provide more teeth to Himachal Pradesh Public Services Commission by bringing the Commission under ambit of Himachal Pradesh Prevention of Malpractices at Universities, Board and others Specified examinations Act, 1984 in order to avoid malpractices, to ensure fair and transparent selection of candidates on merit. State Government took decisions to scrapped HPSSC Hamirpur after state agencies probing the paper leak scam found that total 18 paper being conducted by HPSSC could be leaked. Previous State BJP government witnessed paper leak case of police recruitment which was being probed by the. CBI , Patwari paper conducted during Previous Government have been leaked. Opposition BJP opposed the decision of scrapping of HPSSC Hamirpur terming it injustices with people of foothills. Number of people are behind the bars in police and JOA paper leak case.
