Shortage of teachers in many schools of Spiti: Sonam Bodh

District Lahaul Spiti Kisan Congress Department President Sonam Bodh met Lahaul Spiti MLA Anuradha Rana here today and apprised her of the shortage of teachers in Spiti schools.
Sonam Bodh said that due to the shortage of teachers in many schools of Spiti division, children in this remote area are suffering a lot in their studies.
Sobam Bodh told the MLA that the post of science teacher has been vacant in Senior Secondary School Sagnam for the last two years. He said that there is a great need to expand basic facilities like education and health in Spiti Valley.
MLA Anuradha Rana has assured them that a special request will be made to Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and Education Minister Rohit Thakur to fill the vacant posts of teachers in the schools in Spiti Valley and the vacant posts will be filled soon.
