Shoolini University and the University of Melbourne to work mutually in the fields of teaching and research
Shoolini University today signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the University of Melbourne for academic collaboration.
The LOI was signed in a virtual ceremony by Prof. Atul Khosla Vice-Chancellor Shoolini University and Prof. Michael Wesley Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International), University of Melbourne.
The two universities would work on areas of mutual interest to promote cooperation in the fields of teaching and research between Shoolini University and the University of Melbourne.
“This partnership aims to explore future engagement opportunities which includes exchange of faculty and scholars (professors, lecturers, or researchers), exchange of students (including undergraduate and graduate students), exchange of academic information and materials and exchange of periodical academic publications. The two institutions would organise joint research programmes, joint conferences and shall work on Dual Degree Programmes and other academic exchanges.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Atul Khosla said this is a golden opportunity for Shoolini teachers and students to get international collaboration on academics and research from the world’s best universities. “We are also initiating partnerships with industry and top global universities for new innovative academic programmes”, he added.
Dr. Rozy Dhanta, Deputy Director International, said that she attended the Australian education fair held at Chandigarh last year in the month of May 2022. Then she invited Prof. Andrew from the University of Melbourne to visit Shoolini University which has culminated in the LoI. She added that the University was trying to get the world’s best universities to collaborate for academics and research.
