SFI condemns recruitment of RSS parcharak in Central University

The state unit of SFI condemned the recruitment of an RSS pracharak to the post of Professor at the Central University of Himachal Pradesh relaxing the education qualification norm.

State President of SFI Anil Thakur and state secretary Dineet Denta said in a press statement issued today that an RSS pracharak has been appointed as “Professor of Vedic Mathematics” under the national scheme in Himachal Pradesh Central University.

While implementing the recommendations in the Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas curriculum under the NEP, the government’s self-appointed advisor said that Vedic mathematics should be taught in schools and higher educational institutions as well.

SFI alleges that in the name of the new education policy, a campaign is being launched by the Central Government to saffronize autonomous institutions like Central Universities and State Universities, under which people of RSS and its associated ideologies are being admitted to universities, bypassing all the qualifications and rules. Different posts are being filled.

SFI State Secretary Dinit Denta said that this is not the first case of educational corruption in the state. Earlier, rampant corruption was also seen in the recruitment of professors at Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. Keeping aside all the qualifications and rules, the former BJP government of the state People belonging to RSS were appointed. Along with this, BJP also did the work of filling its favorites in the non-teaching staff.

SFI believes that due to this corruption and saffronization of the education sector by the BJP, the standard of education is continuously falling. It would frustrate the qualified educated youth who are preparing day and night in libraries and waiting for the advertisement for a long time are not getting employment. This is a matter of serious concern.

SFI strongly demands the withdrawal of RSS Pracharak recruitment, this is against the recruitment process and a violation of the fundamental right of equal opportunity of the youth, it should be canceled. SFI demands the state government break the silence on such corrupt appointments and raise its voice against saffronisation and recruitment rigging.

SFI warned that they would mobilize students of the state and would also approach the court for legal action.
