Severe Warm weather in Himachal: Mercury again rise above normal 

Himachal Pradesh is witnessing unexpected severe warm weather in mid of winter season as for second day today Minimum and Maximum temperature recorded five to six degrees above normal. The weathermen though predicted light snowfall in isolated pockets in the state however Mercury showing reverse trends as mainly sunny and warm prevailed in the state. Minimum temperature of Keylong in Lahual Spiti was minus 7.3 degrees which increased around three degrees from yesterday. According to India Meteorological Department minimum temperature of Keylong was 3.7 degrees above normal. Tourist resort Shimla, Manali and Dalhousie was also comparatively warms and stayed four degrees above normal as recorded 7.7, four and 7.5 degrees low. Kalpa  and Recong-peo in Kinnaur minus five and one Dharmshala 9, , Kangra 7, Bilaspur 6, Tourist resort Kufri, Mandi & Hamirpur five degrees each, Solan 3.2 and Chamba 4.9. Maximum temperature of Keylong was 8 degrees above normal as it was two degrees.  Shimla was 17.2 and six degrees above normal,  Manali 15.5 degrees and 3.5 degree above normal, Dalhousie 16.5 degrees and 5.7 degrees above normal. was also comparatively warms. Kalpa and Recong-peo in Kinnaur was 7.3 and 11 degrees, Dharmshala 23 Nahan 20, Kangra 22, Bilaspur 25.5, Kufri, 11.6, Mandi 23.2 & Hamirpur 24, Solan 23 and Chamba 21.4 degrees. Met office forecast mainly dry weather in next 24 hrs. According to Met Office state also recorded highest maximum temperature at Una as it went up to 25.8 degrees Celsius  on January 28, 2023. State recorded lowest minimum temperature minus 12.2 degrees at (Keylong) on 01st Feb 2023.
