Seven students of Mundu School performed brilliantly in the state level competition
Seven students from Government High School, Mundu, recently brought honor to the school and the region with their outstanding performances in judo and wrestling at the state-level Under-14 Sports Competition held in Kanad, Mandi. Himani won a silver medal in wrestling. Amar Singh, the school’s physical education teacher, stated that the students participating in wrestling and judo at the state-level competition included Divya, Neha, Isha, Smriti, Kajal, Himani, and Yash in kabaddi. These students were selected at the district-level Under-14 Sports Competition held in Duttnagar, which gave them the opportunity to showcase their talent in wrestling and judo at the state level. He added that Himani will now showcase her prowess in kurash and kabaddi at the state level. School Principal Ishwar Dutt Sharma extended his best wishes to all the students and their parents and wished the athletes a bright future. The parents attributed this success to the headmaster and PET, Amar Singh Verma.
