Service of the underprivileged is considered paramount in PM Modi’s central government: Jairam

The meeting of BJP State Scheduled Caste Morcha was held at BJP Headquarters, Deep Kamal Chakkar, Shimla. This meeting was presided over by Morcha President Rakesh Dogra.

BJP State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal, Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur, former BJP President and MP Suresh Kashyap and General Secretary Bihari Lal Sharma were specially present in the meeting.

BJP State General Secretary Bihari Lal Sharma said that the Scheduled Caste Morcha has geared up for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. An action plan to strengthen the Morcha up to the booth level has been prepared and a full discussion was held on how the Morcha will take the achievements and policies of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi government to the booth level.

He said that the Scheduled Caste Morcha will also run a public awareness campaign regarding the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Very soon, LED vehicles will be sent by the Central Government to Himachal Pradesh, which will run in the assembly constituency. Through them also the achievements of the Central Government will be publicized on the ground.

BJP State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal said that the Modi government at the Center has made many schemes for the Scheduled Caste category. We have to do the work of taking them to every home, for this all the officials of Scheduled Caste Morcha will work fully. Kendra Sakar has done wonders in terms of food security, clean drinking water, electricity connections, access to LPG cylinders, housing for the poor, reliable health care.

MP Suresh Kashyap said that the Scheduled Caste Morcha is doing good work in Himachal Pradesh and this Morcha will play a leading role in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections also. Scheduled Caste Morcha is working till the booth level in the entire state and its results will always be visible in the times to come. The deprived class will now get huge benefits from the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra being run by the Central Government. This journey will continue across the country till January 25, 2024, due to which everyone will get immediate benefits of many schemes.

Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur said that in PM Modi’s central government, service to the underprivileged is considered paramount. 58 percent of the students receiving scholarship are from Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes. 71 percent of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Class farmers have benefited under the PM Crop Insurance Scheme. Out of 40 crore beneficiaries under Mudra Yojana, 51 percent are from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes. PM Modi’s only effort is Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.
