School to open at 7.45 am in Kangra district

District Magistrate Kangra Dr Nipun Jindal taken decision to open School from 7.45 am in wake of scorching heatwave  under the Disaster Management Act. DC said that the district administration, including the lower areas of district Kangra, is witnessing a significant increase in temperature these days, due to which the district administration has taken this decision. Passing orders to all private and government schools, he has issued orders that from May 23, all schools should be opened from 7:45 in the morning and should be closed at 1 pm because only after one o’clock in the afternoon there is a lot of heat, due to which the children suffer. DC said that decision was taken after information that small children are suffering  in many area of  Kangra in present school times of 9 am to 3 pm now  have been changed so that children could be saved from scorching heat after 1 pm. Notification regarding this has also been issued.
