Rural economy will be strengthened and development will gain momentum : Naresh Chauhan
Principal Advisor (Media) to the Chief Minister, has congratulated the Chief Minister today in the Assembly for presenting the budget for the upcoming financial year in the third term of his popular government. He said that his vision of making Himachal self-reliant by 2027 will be realised. All sections have been taken care of in the budget, which will strengthen the rural economy and accelerate the pace of development in the state.
Naresh Chauhan said that under the able guidance and dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, the state is moving towards all-round development. He said that despite the debts and liabilities left by the previous BJP government, our government has presented a balanced and development-oriented budget, which will bring positive results in the coming times.
Naresh Chauhan said that the announcement of installment of dearness allowance to employees, increase in wages of daily wage workers, doubling of freight subsidy in milk will increase the income of farmers and cattle rearers. The announcement of increasing the minimum support price for cow milk from 45 to 51 rupees and buffalo milk from 55 to 61 rupees per liter in the coming financial year will strengthen the rural economy. Along with this, transport subsidy will also be provided to farmers and cattle rearers to take milk to the milk collection center themselves, which will benefit them.
Naresh Chauhan said that our government has always been a well-wisher of farmers, gardeners, employees and youth. He said that the government has taken special care of unemployed youth and has announced to allocate new permits for 1000 new bus routes to the private sector. This will provide 40 percent subsidy for e-vehicles and 30 percent subsidy on the purchase of petrol and diesel vehicles on the purchase of buses or tempo travellers running on these routes. This will provide self-employment opportunities to the youth.
