Republic Day was celebrated with great pomp in Dadgi School

The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Government Senior Secondary School, Dadgi. The chief guest of the program was famous social worker Besar Dutt Sharma. Vice Principal Dharm Prakash Verma and senior spokesperson Khub Ram Verma and all the members of the school family welcomed him with great enthusiasm. The students of National Service Scheme, Eco Club and the four houses saluted the chief guest and hoisted the tricolor. The students of class 10+2 paid homage to the grateful nation by singing Vande Mataram. On this occasion, various cultural tableaux of the country were presented. Vanita, Neha of class 10+2 and Anuradha, Priya of class 10+1 mesmerized the audience by singing patriotic songs. Bhavana of class 10+1 presented a dance on Sandese Aate Hain Humein Tadapate Hain. Sneha, Sania Verma, Anuradha of class 10+1 and Tarun Thakur, Lakshya Sharma, Anamika Sharma, Kartik and Mayank of class 10+2 expressed their views on the importance of the Indian constitution. Santosh, Kamlesh of class 10+2 and Gungun and Kashish of class 10 recited patriotic poems aloud. Various cultural presentations highlighted the significance of the Republic Day and immersed the people present in the colour of patriotism. Along with paying homage to the immortal martyrs, the chief guest highlighted the role of Dr. Ambedkar in the making of the Indian constitution. Vice Principal Dharm Prakash Verma congratulated all the teachers as well as the students on the Republic Day. The stage was conducted by Tilak Ranaut.
