Rajesh Dharmani directs to expedite ongoing construction project of HIMUDA
Town and Country Planning Minister Rajesh Dharmani has directed the officers to expedite the construction work of commercial complex at Vikas Nagar and Mountain City Jathia Devi in Shimla District. He emphasized upon to bring re-development policy for mobilizing government land and to modernize existing structures.
He was presiding over a meeting of the Board of Directors of Himachal Pradesh Housing and Urban Development Authority (HIMUDA) here today to review the progress of the ongoing projects of HIMUDA.
The Minister stressed upon the timely completion of deposit works. He also emphasized upon private participation for better urban and residential development in the state to create more investment avenues in the region.
The board accorded permission to approve the revised budget estimates for the financial year 2025-26 amounting to Rs. 125.38 crore. It approved standard operating procedure for purchase of private land along-with construction of 35 flats at Dharamshala.
CEO-cum-Secretary, HIMUDA Surinder Kumar Vashisht conducted the proceedings of the meeting.
Vice-Chairman of HIMUDA Yashwant Chhajta, Principal Secretary Housing Devesh Kumar, Advisor (Infra) to the Chief Minister Anil Kapil, other senior officers of HPPWD and Jal Shakti Vibhag and non-official members of the board Jitender Chndel and Pradeep Surya were present on the occasion.
