Prof. Priti Saxena appointed as new Vice-Chancellor of HPNLU, Shimla
The Himachal Pradesh High Court Chief Justice and University Chancellor, Rajiv Shakdher, issued the official notification today, appointing Prof. Priti Saxena as the new Vice-Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), Shimla.
Prof. Saxena’s tenure will last for five years or until she reaches the age of sixty-five, whichever comes first. She takes over from Dr. Nishtha Jaswal, the outgoing Vice-Chancellor of HPNLU.
Prof. Saxena holds a law degree from Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, and a Ph.D. in Law from Kumaun University, Nainital. Prior to this, she served as the Dean of the School for Legal Studies at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow.
