Prime Minister Narendra Modi urges brave soldiers to join hands with BJP for making nation strong

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today urged the brave soldiers of Himachal Pradesh to have faith in the BJP for their well-being and welfare and join hands with the party for further keeping this spirit alive and making the nation strong. He said that if they voted for the Congress party, they would lose whatever the BJP had given to them since 2014.

He said this while addressing a massive election rally at historic Chaugan (ground) of Sujanpur Tira in the district today. It will be perhaps the last rally of the Prime Minister in the state before the state goes to polls on November 12th.

He said,” I’m yours Pradhan sevak and in that capacity I have come to you to seek votes for my party and I’m hopeful that people will vote en-masse for the BJP and its candidates”.

Modi also introduced the candidates to the people and sought votes for them in the rally.

While paying rich tributes to the martyrs of the nation, he said that he was proud to have come to a place that was the hub of the activists of serving soldiers, ex-servicemen and countless their families. He said that India was alive due to the sacrifices made by the brave Indian jawans especially from Himachal Pradesh. He said that was the reason that the party had given the ticket to Captain Ranjit Singh (Retd.) from the Sujanpur seat after party’s senior leader Prem Kumar Dhumal decided not to contest this time.

He gave a clarion call to the people to vote for Captain Sahib for achieving the Mission repeat 2022 of the party in the HP Vidhan sabha elections.

Modi said that he had seen the Kargil war and had gone there along with the former Chief Minister PK Dhumal. It was the BJP government that was in power during that war and gave full powers to the Indian forces to fight as a result the war was won. He said that Indian forces were one of the greatest forces in World and they deserved appreciation.

He said that for us the party is bigger than us and the nation above the party.

The Prime Minister said that the double engine government did many things for their daughters. Therefore, mothers and sisters have taken over the responsibility of changing the customs in Himachal and bringing back the BJP to power in the state.

He said that the Congress always betrayed Himachal, when Congress was in power at the Center and here, it had made a condition of giving 40 out of 100 to Himachal for development projects. Our government asked to give only 10 rupees on Himachal, that is, now the budget is being given in the ratio of 90:10 and that was remarkable.

He warned the people that if Congressmen were allowed to rule the state, nothing will happen, as is evident from their (Congress party’s) past. As such I bow to the people and seek their blessings  in changing the custom and to allow the BJP government to stay in power in the state for the second successive time.

Modi said that the Congress party was on its way out and if it was allowed to stay it would doom the nation and country would be in the grip of foreign powers that were having eyes on the Indian treasurer.

He said that the Congress party did nothing in the parliament and always preferred to stage walk outs and to harm the cause of the people. They never raised the people’s voice as a result the BJP had to work according to our own will on how to help the people.

The Prime Minister told the people while clapping that the center has started a campaign to give 10 lakh jobs to the young persons and as soon as the BJP government was formed in Himachal, the employment fairs will be held and jobs given to the needy people.

Modi said that Himachal Pradesh was marching towards prosperity and roads played an important role in this. The National Highway projects worth 10 thousand crores were going on in Himachal Pradesh and would become a reality in four years.

He said that Himachal Pradesh was included in 3-to 4 states of the country where i
