Expressing deep sorrow over the loss of life and property due to heavy rains and landslides in the state, she has said that in this hour of grief, the Congress government of the state stands with all the affected families and is determined to provide them all possible help.

She has said that this time too the state has become a victim of natural disaster due to monsoon, which is a matter of great concern. She has said that Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and the entire cabinet are keeping a close watch on this disaster situation. Orders have already been issued to the Deputy Commissioners and administration of all the districts to make proper arrangements for essential commodities, food items and to provide relief material to the affected families. She has asked the party leaders and workers to cooperate with the administration and provide all possible support to the disaster affected families. She has also appealed to the people of the state to come forward and help the affected families in this hour of crisis.
