Pratibha expressed her happiness over Congress party’s impressive performance in MC elections
Former MP Pratibha Singh expressed her happiness over the Congress party’s impressive performance in the municipal elections and thanked the people of the state. She said that Congress contests elections in the name of development, while the BJP attempts to capture votes by playing on people’s emotions.
In a statement today, Pratibha Singh said that Congress takes everyone along, while the BJP plays politics in the name of regionalism and religion. She said that the results of the municipal elections have made it clear that the public opinion of the state is with Congress. She expressed hope that Congress will win the elections of the four municipal corporations as well. She said that to ensure the victory of Congress-supported candidates in the Gram Panchayat elections, all party workers must work together to strengthen the Rural Parliament, warning people against any lies of the BJP. She said that rural development is the main objective of the Congress and to ensure that people receive the full benefits of the Congress government’s public welfare schemes from the comfort of their homes, Congress ideology must be strengthened.
