Pratibha demands that the entire matter be investigated by a JPC and the truth should be revealed to the country

State Congress President and former MP Pratibha Singh has termed the arrest warrant issued against Gautam Adani in the US on the charge of bribing Indian officials to secure high-value solar power contracts as serious and said that the Congress has already been raising questions on Adani’s functioning in the country, but neither the investigating agencies ever took any action nor the government ever ordered any investigation. Now, with the arrest warrant issued by the US court after this alleged bribery scandal of Adani, it is clear that Adani has been involved in securities fraud.
Pratibha Singh has demanded that the entire matter be investigated by JPC, Joint Parliamentary Committee and said that the truth should be revealed to the country.
Pratibha Singh said that former AICC president Rahul Gandhi had been demanding an investigation into Adani’s securities fraud, influencing the stock market and his alleged links with SEBI, but it is unfortunate that due to Adani’s alleged proximity to top BJP leaders, no action has been taken against him till date.
Pratibha Singh has strongly supported the demand of senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in which he has demanded the immediate removal of Sewak Pramukh Madhuvi Puri Buch from her post and the immediate arrest of Adani. She has said that very serious allegations of economic irregularities have been leveled against Adani, hence all this should be immediately investigated by JPC.
