Police resolve Rs 7 lakh flour mill theft
Himachal Pradesh Police resolved a organized Rs seven lakh worth theft and burglary occurred in a flour mill factory under Pachhad Tehsil of Sirmaur district on Mar 19 as including four factory workers six accused were arrested, the police spokesperson said in a press release issued here today.
He said that on Mar 21, 2022 owners of Deepak Agro Industries, Ajay Sahani lodged a complaint with the Police Station Pachhad that product manufactured in his factory including huge quantity of flour, maida, semolina etc. are stolen since Mar 19-03-2022. The complaint also shown doubt on some of his. The Theft was done from the company premises by switching off the company’s CCTV cameras. On Preliminary investigation revealed theft of goods worth about Rs.700,000/- from the flour mill. On the basis of complaint an FIR was registered in PS Pachhad under section 381,34 IPC. Taking prompt action by the police, Suspect Employees were round up by the police and four if them who were working in the company were arrested after investigation. On the behest of the arrested accused, raids were also conducted on the shops of two local shopkeepers and from these shops the company’s stolen goods worth about Rs. three lakh were recovered Both these shopkeepers have also been arrested by the police for buying stolen goods. In addition, a pick-up vehicle used to transport stolen goods from the company has also been seized by the police. During the investigation so far, six accused Vikas, Pardeep, Mukesh, Abhishek Apeel and Pawan Kumar were arrested who were produced in the court Judicial Magistrate Rajgarh to seek police remand till further investigation is going on.
