Parents should send their 12th passed children to college: Dr. Deep Shikha

With the aim of increasing the number of students in Degree College Chail Koti, a community outreach program was organized on Thursday in which representatives of ten panchayats of Junga tehsil participated. Let us tell you that there are very few youth with higher education in Kasupanti constituency, due to which very few people from this region are serving in high positions in the state, otherwise most of the parents keep their children at home after completing 12th class. This is the reason why the college administration has felt the need to start a community outreach program to inform people about the importance of higher education.
College Principal Dr. Deepshikha Bhardwaj urged the representatives that this college is a boon for the people of this area, where a child is being provided with good education as well as all kinds of facilities near home. She said that it is not too late yet, those parents who have not sent their children to college after passing 12th class must send them so that the number of students in the college can be increased. For this, the cooperation of all the residents of the area is expected.
Professor of Political Science Dr. Devendra Sharma raised some important issues related to education before this important unit (Panchayat representative) connecting the village and the college, in which especially the villagers adjoining this college should be made aware about getting their children admitted to the college. Apart from this, information was also given about the facilities provided to the students through the college and the benefits that the people of this area will get from it. He expressed concern about the children not sending their children to the college for higher education after passing 12th class.
On this occasion, the college administration talked to all the representatives and sought their suggestions. All the Panchayat representatives present gave suggestions to solve this problem at their own level. All the professors of the college participated in this program. After this, all the representatives visited the new building.
