Online registration opens for paddy procurement for Kharif season 2026-27
The online portal for registration of farmers for paddy procurement during the Kharif season 2026-27 has been opened from 15 September 2026. Farmers can register on the HP APP portal to sell their paddy and book a token as per their convenience.
Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Kumud Singh, said today that paddy procurement in Himachal Pradesh will begin on 3 October 2026 and continue until 15 December 2026. A total of 11 procurement centres have been established for the purpose.
Paddy will be procured in four districts of the State- Kangra, Solan, Una and Sirmaur.
She said that this year, farmers have also been provided with the facility to register through the Farmer Registry under AgriStack. Under this facility, the farmer’s personal and land-related details will be obtained online from the Farmer Registry. Therefore, verification of land records by the Patwari would not be required. However, farmers would still have to enter their complete bank details themselves, as before.
Farmers who are not registered under AgriStack would continue to register directly through the HP APP portal by entering all the required details themselves. In such cases, the land details would continue to be verified online by the Patwari, while the agriculture officer would enter the crop details online, as per the existing procedure.
Kumud Singh further said that the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for paddy for Kharif season 2026-27 has been fixed at Rs 2,461 per quintal by the Government of India. This is Rs 72 higher than the MSP offered last year.
