On PM visit Himachal Youth on road against Agneepath scheme
On the day of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit in Himachal, protest broke out against the Agneepath scheme being launched by the Central Government for recruitment in all the three parts of the army as anger of the aspiring youth of Himachal has erupted on the road. In the districts of Kangra and Hamirpur in the state, youths demonstrated fiercely on the streets and the police had to use mild force to handle these youths.
This morning Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Dharamsala to attend the meeting of Chief Secretaries of various states. To take their voice to the Prime Minister, the youth marched towards Gaggal airport early in the morning. They thought that the Prime Minister would get down there and from there he would go by road to Dharamsala. But the Prime Minister landed at Sai’s Maidan in Dharamsala.
Seeing the youth on the streets like this, the hands of the police administration were blown away. When these youths came to know that the Prime Minister would land in Dharamsala, they marched from Gaggal towards Dharamsala and started shouting slogans against the central government. During this, these youths also tore the banners of the Prime Minister on the sides of the roads. Apart from this, wherever BJP flags were found, these youth uprooted them. Later, when the police stopped them from moving forward, they sat on the road and expressed their protest and raised slogans fiercely. Later, the police put them in custody in Himachal transport buses and took them to the police station. These youths said that they had passed the ground test some time ago for the recruitment of the army. ” Now there was a written test. The central government would cancel this exam and started this four-year recruitment. Where will he go after four years? ” they lamented. In the state, a road show hold at Dharamsala amidst the Prime Minister’s chanting, on the other hand youths were shouting slogans against the Prime Minister and the central government on the streets. In Hamirpur too in the morning the youth started protesting at Gandhi Chowk and raised slogans. On this occasion, Left leader Kashmir Singh reached the spot and announced to support these youths. Kashmir Singh said that there would be no contract recruitment in the army. On this occasion, the youth created a ruckus and later the police took Kashmir Singh and the youth into custody. The fire of protest against the Agneepath scheme of the central government has now flared up in the state. Remember, in most of the districts including Kangra, Hamirpur, Mandi Bilasuper of Himachal, a large section works in the army.
