NSS Unit and Eco Club of Govt Adarsh ​​Senior Secondary school celebrated Van Mahotsav by planting saplings in Junga

With the help of Gram Panchayat Junga and the Forest Department, the NSS Unit and Eco Club of Government Adarsh ​​Senior Secondary School Junga organized a tree plantation drive on Thursday on the theme Meri Mati Mera Desh. The objective of this campaign was to spread awareness about our responsibilities towards natural resources and to inform the students about the importance of tree plantation.
Let us tell you that in this day-long campaign, 70 volunteers of the NSS unit planted more than 70 saplings of Deodar in the school premises and its adjoining area. On this occasion, the head of Gram Panchayat Junga Bansilal Main participated as a guest. He appreciated NSS volunteers and program officers Ramlal Lodhata and Maina Chauhan for making this campaign a success.
On this occasion, Forest Guard Rohit Sharma shared information about the step-by-step process of tree plantation. Apart from the volunteers, spokesperson Anamika Thakur, spokesperson Jeetram, Bidhi Chand, and other school members also participated.
