Nisha of Kotgarh received the best social service award in Shimla
In the annual felicitation ceremony of Him Jan Kalyan Jagrukta Samiti held at Kali Bari Hall in Shimla, people who made outstanding contributions in the field of social service were felicitated. In this grand event, Himachal Pradesh’s well-known volleyball coach Satish Sharma participated as the chief guest. Ravindra Prakash and Abhay Lakhanpal also marked their presence as special guests. The program was presided over by the state president of the committee, Ranjana Thakur.
The highlight of the ceremony was the “Utkrisht Samman” being given to Nisha of Kotgarh. Nisha has done remarkable work in the fields of education, health and women empowerment. Her efforts have not only empowered the local community but have also given new inspiration towards social service. While giving the award, Satish Sharma praised Nisha and said, “Women like Nisha are an example of change for the society. Their efforts teach us that working in the right direction can bring about big changes.”
During the program, other social workers and organization members were also honored for their contribution. All the guests present at the function described this event as a symbol of dedication and inspiration towards social service.
