NCC day celebrated in Rajgarh school

The 76th National Cadet Corps Day was celebrated in PM Shri Utkrisht Sansthan Government Model Senior Secondary School Rajgarh in the school premises under the chairmanship of Principal Kanta Chauhan. NCC in-charge Rajesh Bharat informed that the National Cadet Corps is the youth wing of the Indian Armed Forces, which was established in 1948 to inspire the youth to make their career in the armed forces and to develop qualities like leadership, discipline, teamwork, and sense of responsibility towards the nation.
He said that it is a voluntary organization that is open to school and college students of all backgrounds. Its primary objective is to develop character, brotherhood, discipline, secular outlook, spirit of adventure, and ideals of selfless service among young citizens.
The chief guest of the program, Principal Kanta Chauhan urged the children that the students who take NCC are to prepare a human resource of organized, trained, and motivated youth with leadership qualities from all walks of life, no matter what career the children choose, they will definitely serve the nation. Also, through NCC, a suitable environment will be provided to motivate the youth to make a career in the armed forces. NCC organization is structured in three parts.
During the program, NCC cadets performed drills, NCC songs, and cleaning of the campus, and also a beautiful short play was presented by the NCC cadets. 85 NCC cadets including Suman Rana (Biology) lecturer, Sharmila Bharat (History lecturer), Sachin Sharma (Bachelor of Arts), Sanskrit teacher, Virendra (Urdu teacher), Sanjay (Arts teacher), and Inder Chauhan participated in the program. After the program, the chief guest was honored with a shawl and refreshments were also given to all the cadets present.
