Navratri Garba Celebration organized at Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth University

Garba Mahotsav was organized at Lingyas Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University on the auspicious occasion of Navratri. Program coordinator Dr. Bindiya Ahuja said that this program was organized under the guidance of the college management. It was started by lighting the lamp by Registrar Prem Kumar Salwan and Academic Dean Professor Dr. Seema Bushra.
He said that all the students and staff members participated enthusiastically in the program. On this occasion, students presented an attractive Dandiya dance on the song Jai Ambe Jagdambe Maa. After this, a wonderful presentation was given on the songs Meri Jhopri Door Jayenge Ram Aayenge, O Sari Rangsari, Shehnai-Shehnai, Angana Padharo Maharani Sharda Bhavani.
Everyone sang the glory of Maa Durga by dancing Garba and Dandiya. Students formed different groups and won the hearts of everyone with their spectacular performances of Dandiya dance. Seeing Dandiya dance in colorful clothes amidst devotional music, everyone was compelled to dance. Nishi Kalra, Ruchi Kaushik, Dr. Monica Rastogi, Shilpa Sharma, Mohini Taneja, Rajendra Kol, Bindu Sharma, Dr. Manisha Vashishtha, Dr. Smriti Mahajan and Anand Prakash Pathak were present on this occasion.
