National Unity Day celebrated at Chiyog School
The Government Senior Secondary School for Excellence, Chiyog, celebrated the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel as National Unity Day. The Principal and all the teachers paid tribute by garlanding the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and administered the oath of national unity and integrity.
On this occasion, various competitions were organized by the school’s NSS unit, including slogan writing, painting exhibition, poster making, essay writing, poetry recitation, etc. Srishti secured first place in essay writing, Gunjan second, and Suhani third. Similarly, Sania, Avantika, Ankit, and Jyoti secured first, second, and third places respectively in painting. Nitanshu secured first, Palak second, and Ambika third in slogan writing.
In his address, Principal Sandeep Kumar Sharma highlighted the life and sacrifices of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He urged students to have true faith and devotion in serving the nation. He said that we should not forget the struggles and sacrifices of these great men.
NSS in-charge Vijayalakshmi Sharma also expressed her views. All the teachers, staff, and students were present on this occasion.
