National Bioinformatics Workshop Concludes at CSIR-IHBT, Equipping Researchers with Key Skills
The four-day national bioinformatics workshop, “Deep Bioinformatics Bootcamp Season 2,” focusing on transcriptional regulation, successfully concluded at the CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology (IHBT), Palampur.
The event saw the participation of 34 researchers from across India, including states such as Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Odisha, Gujarat, Sikkim, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Haryana. Experts from CSIR-NBRI Lucknow, IISER Mohali, IISc Bengaluru, IIT Delhi, and other prestigious institutions enriched the sessions with insightful lectures.
The workshop blended expert talks with hands-on training, providing participants with practical exposure to advanced bioinformatics tools. The interactive format was highly appreciated by attendees. At the closing ceremony, certificates were distributed to all participants.
Dr. Sudesh Kumar Yadav, Director of CSIR-IHBT, highlighted the significance of the workshop, stating that it equipped participants with valuable knowledge and skills essential for their professional growth in the field of bioinformatics.
